Your First Appointment: What You Need to Know
After scheduling your session, you’ll receive an automated email with a health history form and our cancellation policy. Please complete and submit the form prior to your appointment so we can tailor the session to your needs and ensure your safety and comfort.
-
How should I prepare for my massage appointment?
Just wear comfortable clothing and arrive a few minutes early to relax. You don’t need to bring anything special. We’ll go over your health history and goals before the session begins.
-
Do I have to be completely undressed during the massage?
Not at all—your comfort comes first. You can undress to your comfort level. Many clients choose to leave their underwear on, or you can stay fully clothed if you prefer. We can adjust our techniques and work around clothing as needed. You will always be properly draped during the session to ensure privacy and warmth.
-
How often should I get a massage?
That depends on your goals. For general wellness, once a month is often enough. If you're managing pain or tension, weekly or bi-weekly sessions may help more.
After your first visit, we’ll talk about how you’re feeling and what you’d like to focus on, then create a plan that fits your needs and schedule.
-
What if I’m running late?
If you're running behind, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but sessions may need to be shortened to avoid overlapping with other appointments.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. This helps us manage our schedule and serve all clients efficiently.
